The CPB’s Food Basket

A healthy food diet reinforces the latest scientific and nutritional standards for food intake and considers personal preferences and cultures. The NYS Consumer Protection Board’s Food Basket provides helpful information and resources for consumers to make the best dietary decisions for their lifestyles and budget. It also alerts consumers to food safety issues and programming from Governor Paterson’s Council on Food Policy and the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Milk Marketing Advisory Council, on which the CPB serves.
